I own some pastels from my old doll-makeup days, and realized I should probably try to find out how they're used normally!

I'm not really a fan, honestly. Then again, the quality of my pastels varies, so some colors have almost no adherence at all. Others go on nicely. I have very few colors, hence some odd choices here, like his skin being so damned light.

Quick piece, to me, pastel doesn't lend itself to anything much more than doodles. But maybe I'm wrong....

I am no artist, so I will not be providing any feedback there, but the mood of this 'doodle' is very nice. His expression, and the colours are lovely. I think it's awesome!

Ah, but there's such a charm to your doodles. I remember you frequently complaining about tiny imperfections in your work, but seeing you in a medium that lends itself to imperfections only proves more to me that your art is perfect just the way it is!

Oh, Maker this is beautiful! I'm loving the use of color - Fenris can be very black and white. The emotion is also very gorgeous.

I love pastel work, *if* they're quality pastels and *if* the artist has the right colors for the piece. That said, I think yours actually looks really nice. I don't think the quality of the pastels did any damage to the quality of the piece. And the color choice works for me, too. I've always associated Fenris with the color green, oddly enough, so I'm loving the green tint as well as the green/dark red/black contrast around his face.

Lovely piece, thanks so much for sharing!
